Timothy Wood: I am a freelance translator collaborating with other freelance translators and proofreaders. In 2004 the University of Freiburg (Germany) awarded me with a Master’s Degree in English Linguistics with an emphasis in French and Philosophy. Translation courses made up a significant part of my linguistic training. In 1998 I also received a diploma from La Sorbonne, University of Paris (iv) in French civilization. I have been working as a freelance translator since January 2005.

Kristopher Kling: I am a freelance proofreader who has been working with Timothy Wood since the fall of 2006. As a writer of poetry, plays and screenplays, I have done a lot of proofreading in those fields as well. My academic background is primarily theatrical: I hold degrees in Acting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2000) and London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama (2005).

Birthe Seeberg: I am a German native speaker with experience as an English/German translator and a German proofreader. I studied Sociology and German Studies at the University of Oldenburg and the University of Frankfurt/Main. In 2005, I received a Master’s Degree and have worked for an international advertising agency and a press office. I have also worked as a librarian and a German tutor. Since the beginning of 2008, I have been working with Crossculture Word.

Joshua Seeberg: I am a translator with over 7 years of experience in German/English translation and instruction. I received a Master's Degree in Germanic Studies (minor in English Studies) with an emphasis in linguistics from the University of Oldenburg. My fields of translation include technical, IT, tourism, financial, legal, scholarly and general. I am also a proofreader and freelance writer with over 5 years of experience writing press releases for a software company.
